At Andrew Kerr Care we are very proud of our much-loved volunteers. Volunteers bring passion, local knowledge, skills and dedication. At Andrew Kerr Care we aim to make volunteering meaningful, positive and an enriching way to support the community.

As we all know the bush fires impact heavily on our communities. We are also very proud of our local integrated CFA (Country Fire Authority) crews including Mornington and full volunteer brigades including Mt Eliza, Langwarrin and Tyabb were recently deployed to the Gippsland fires.

The Frankston Fire Brigade CFA have said that over the next couple of days “more fire fighters from Frankston and across the Peninsula will be deployed to the fires across East Gippsland.”

If you’re wondering how you can help fellow Australians during this Bushfire emergency, Bendigo Bank has set up a Bushfire Disaster Appeal. This bushfire event is far from over and Bendigo Bank says they are committed to supporting all communities impacted across Australia. Bendigo Bank has partnered with The Salvation Army, to establish an appeal with 100% of donated funds going directly to communities in need.
