Andrew Kerr Care was a finalist in the Organisation category of the ACSA Victoria Aged Care Awards. The nomination was for Andrew Kerr’s Staff Moral Initiative.
Claire Hewitson, Unit Manager, Red Hill Unit, was a semi-finalist in the Victorian Regional Achievement & Community Awards in the MOA Benchmarking Community Service in Aged Care Award category.
Andrew Kerr Care was selected as one of the semi-finalists in the Prime Super Employer Excellence in Aged Care Award, part of the Victorian Regional Achievement and Community Awards.
Andrew Kerr Care was a finalist in the Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Awards for Community Contribution.
Andrew Kerr Care Ltd won the Health, Wellbeing and Personal Services category Award in the Frankston & Mornington Peninsula Excellence in Business Awards. The judges were looking for businesses that provide specialised personal services in areas such as health and wellbeing. This award recognised Andrew Kerr Care’s quality clinical care, professional services including catering, laundry, maintenance and cleaning, and our diverse lifestyle program.
Andrew Kerr Care Food Services won the Oscar Hospitality State Catering Innovation of the Year. Congratulations to Food Services Supervisor, Jackie Ward, and her team.
This award was for the exciting menu provided to Residents at Andrew Kerr Care Ltd during the London Olympic Games. The menu “Around the World in 14 Days” saw Residents enjoying food from various countries. Through meals, Residents visited Greece, China, Germany, Thailand, the United Kingdom, India, Italy, USA, France and, of course, Australia.
Along with the special meals, Residents were provided with daily posters highlighting the menu of the day which included interesting information on the culinary traditions or history of food or etiquette relating to food from that country.
Andrew Kerr Care’s Monica Leiva won the Oscar Hospitality National Facility Cleaner of the Year Award. The award recognised that Monica made an outstanding contribution to her profession through her work, work ethic, teamwork, and affability.
Monica has worked at Andrew Kerr Care Ltd for ten years and throughout that time, Monica has performed her duties admirably. Monica is a valuable member of not only the cleaning workforce at Andrew Kerr Care Ltd but the overall workforce. She has made an outstanding contribution to her profession which has enhanced the lives of Residents.
